SO'26 Awards Winner

Very honored to share that my collaboration with photographer and mixed media artist Lotte Bruning Donskoi has been selected as one of the winners of the SO’26 Awards – The Selection of Dutch Photography, a competition celebrating the creative identity of professional photographers.

Our series Holding Without Grasping marks an important step in the evolution of our artistic practice. In a time where individuality often takes center stage, collaboration feels increasingly essential. It broadens perspectives, challenges authorship, and opens space for new visual languages to emerge.

Driven by intuition, experimentation, and collaboration, this series explores the space between holding on and letting go. Here, vulnerability and strength are not opposites, but forces that coexist and reinforce one another.

Within the work, photography, handmade textile interventions, and digital layers interact much like relationships do — sometimes soft, sometimes confronting. The body appears not as an object, but as a presence.

Many thanks to the jury for their trust in our work, and to Lotte for this inspiring collaboration.

The work will also be exhibited during SO’26 at Melkweg Expo Amsterdam from June 12 — 14.
